Ark Community Charter School

This past week was my first week at my new student teaching placement.  For the next four months I will be working with elementary students at the Ark Community Charter School located in Troy, NY.  This school is an excellent educational foundation for many students from various family and cultural backgrounds.  I am working with Ms. Molly and focusing on students in the 3rd, 5th and 6th grade. I was very happy to see some familiar faces from the Sage All Stars program.  It was especially wonderful to see these Sage All Stars' faces light up when they saw me in their art room. Though I'm sure I will face some challenging times I am looking forward to my educational endeavors at Ark.  I am positive that I will learn beneficial information from Ms. Molly and the students within her classroom. Here's to a new beginning and lots of educational and artistic growth for all!
